TIP FOR REMOVING EXPIRATION DATE

If you are wondering about the 2007 expiration date on the Strip case, on our next batch, we will erase the date ourselves. In the meantime, you can smudge the date with a bit of sand paper (wrapped around the end of a pencil) so it's not readable.
When you perform this thing for real people, no one is going to notice the minor color difference.

TIP FOR GIMMICK HANDLING

The Strip gimmick does not have to be broken in. Every single unit is tested before it ships. You should be able to trigger the device every single time. Depending on the shape of your forefinger... you might want to trigger it this way:

Instead of pressing up on the bottom with your forefinger tip, press up against the bottom with the SIDE of your slightly curled forefinger. This way there is upward pressure across the entire width of the bottom. The top SIDE of your forefinger should be positioned so that half is pressing up across the bottom and half extends past the front edge of the case.

Also ... make sure that you close the case and press upward with your forefinger at the same time.

These tips are for The STRIP Gimmick.
